Water dripping from the Yuexiang's exhaust pipe is not a car malfunction, but rather a sign of efficient combustion in the car's engine. Under ideal conditions, the complete combustion of gasoline should only produce water and carbon dioxide. Initially, this water is in the form of colorless and odorless water vapor. However, as it exits the exhaust pipe and encounters cooler temperatures, it condenses and drips below the exhaust pipe. This is a common phenomenon in engines that are in good working condition. The Yuexiang's body design incorporates a large number of fashionable and youthful elements. When I first took over the family's Yuexiang, I also noticed water dripping from the exhaust pipe and thought there was a problem with the car. Hot air is expelled when the exhaust pipe is at a high temperature, but once it encounters cold air or the outer wall of the exhaust pipe cools down, the water vapor condenses into droplets and drips out. This indicates high combustion efficiency in the engine and good overall vehicle condition. Especially in cold weather or right after starting the engine, the amount of water can be more noticeable—like in winter mornings when you often see white mist coming from the exhaust pipe and a small puddle of water on the ground. Of course, if the dripping is excessive or the water has a strange odor or turns blue, it might indicate a coolant leak in the cooling system, in which case you should head to the repair shop immediately. I usually recommend keeping an eye on the car's temperature gauge to ensure it's normal and not letting small issues escalate. Regular engine maintenance and cleaning the exhaust pipe outlets can prevent rust caused by water accumulation and make the car more durable.
