Why is the brake sound screeching?

Screeching brake sounds may be caused by worn brake pads, foreign objects in the brake pads, or the break-in period of newly replaced brake pads. Worn brake pads: When a car has been used for many years or has high mileage, the brake pads may age and wear out, leading to abnormal noises. In this case, the brake pads should be replaced at a 4S shop. Foreign objects in the brake pads: If the car has traveled through muddy or bumpy roads, small stones or other debris may become lodged in the brake pads, causing friction and noise. This situation can be resolved by cleaning the brake pads. Break-in period of new brake pads: When new brake pads are installed, there may be some noise initially. This usually resolves after driving for a while to allow the pads to break in. If the noise persists after some time, it is advisable to visit a 4S shop or repair shop for professional inspection.
