After the CC is parked and the engine is turned off, the cooling fan will continue to operate until the temperature of the antifreeze in the engine radiator drops below 85 degrees Celsius. This is the factory design standard of the Volkswagen CC and does not indicate a radiator malfunction. The function of the cooling fan: Under high-temperature working conditions, the car engine must be properly cooled to maintain an optimal operating temperature, ensuring good engine performance, durability, and exhaust emission standards. The cooling fan is primarily used for engine and coolant heat dissipation, preventing engine failure due to overheating. The principle of the cooling fan: The car fan consists of fan blades, a fan belt, and an electric motor. When the sensor detects that the engine coolant temperature reaches the operating threshold for the cooling fan, the fan motor starts rotating, driving the belt and enabling the fan to operate normally, dissipating heat from the engine and radiator. When the temperature drops below the operating threshold, the motor stops, and the fan ceases operation.
