Why can't the Chery EQ charge?

There are two possible reasons why the Chery EQ cannot charge: 1. Severe battery degradation: If the car battery is not charging, it is most likely due to deep discharge. This means that when the vehicle is turned off, the car's internal devices remain in operation, continuously consuming the battery's power. Over time, this will accelerate the battery's degradation, and the only solution is to replace it with a new battery. 2. Aging generator belt: The engine directly drives the generator via a belt, and the generated electricity is rectified and stabilized before being used to charge the car battery. If there is an issue with the belt, it will naturally result in a failure to charge, requiring timely replacement. However, this factor is unlikely to occur, as the generator belt is inspected during major car maintenance. If the belt is found to be excessively worn, it will be replaced with a new one.
