Currently, there are 26 provinces in China promoting the use of ethanol gasoline. Among the initial 11 pilot provinces, six adopted a "fully enclosed" promotion model: Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Henan, Anhui, and Guangxi. Five provinces implemented a "semi-enclosed" promotion: Jiangsu, Hubei, Hebei, Shandong, and Guangdong. Subsequently, the promotion expanded to 15 additional provinces, including Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. Below is relevant information: 1. Definition of Ethanol Gasoline: Ethanol gasoline is typically marked with a capital letter "E" before the gasoline grade. It is a fuel ethanol processed from grains and various plant fibers. According to China's standards, ethanol gasoline is blended with 10% fuel ethanol and 90% conventional gasoline. 2. Benefits of Ethanol Gasoline: The promotion of ethanol gasoline effectively reduces the emission of harmful gases in vehicle exhaust and helps eliminate carbon deposits in components like spark plugs and combustion chambers. Besides its environmental advantages, it also fosters a positive cycle in agricultural production and consumption, enhancing the value and transformation of agricultural by-products.
