The Vios fuse box is located on the driver's side, under the large plastic panel above the instrument panel near the front windshield. You can open it by pulling it backward; if it doesn't open, use a screwdriver to pry it. Additional related information is as follows: 1. The fuse box is the central nervous system of a car. It is responsible for transmitting driving information to various parts of the vehicle, serving as a key component in the car's electronic control system. It is also one of the parts with higher technical content and stricter process requirements in the vehicle body. 2. Classification of car fuse boxes: (1) By fuse installation: can be divided into fuse tube boxes and fuse strip boxes. (2) By fuse size: can be divided into large fuse boxes, medium fuse boxes, and small fuse boxes. (3) By material: can be divided into plastic fuse boxes and bakelite fuse boxes. (4) By environmental standards: can be divided into eco-friendly fuse boxes and non-eco-friendly fuse boxes. (5) By installation method: can be divided into lead-type fuse boxes, circuit board-type fuse boxes, and instrument panel-mounted fuse boxes.

The Vios actually has two fuse box locations, a main one and a secondary one. The main fuse box is located in the engine compartment. After opening the hood, you'll find a black rectangular plastic box near the lower left side of the windshield, marked with the word "FUSE". The secondary fuse box is inside the cabin, a bit hidden under the left side of the steering wheel. You'll need to bend down to see a small cover, which can be pried open to access the fuses. When I helped a friend replace a fuse, I noticed the design of these two locations is quite logical—the main box handles the engine circuits while the secondary box manages the vehicle's electrical appliances. Remember to turn off the engine and disconnect the power before any operation to avoid short circuits. The layout might vary slightly depending on the model year of the Vios, so it's best to check the fuse layout diagram in the vehicle manual to confirm the specific numbers.

The main fuse box in the Vios engine compartment is quite easy to locate. After opening the hood, it's on the driver's side, right next to the windshield - that black cover is it. There's also an auxiliary fuse box inside the car, hidden in the corner of the dashboard under the steering wheel. You'll need to crouch down and pull open a small plastic panel to see it. When I was repairing my car earlier and found a blown fuse, I first checked the one in the engine compartment. After confirming it was fine, I remembered there's another fuse box inside. I recommend keeping a few spare fuses in your car - just get universal ones rated between 10A-20A. When replacing them yourself, remember to use special fuse pullers. If you don't have the tool, wrap your hand with a dry cloth to pull them out - never use metal tweezers as they can conduct electricity and be very dangerous.

The Toyota Vios has two fuse box locations: one is in the engine compartment, visible when you open the hood—it's a black box near the corner by the windshield; the other is under the steering wheel in the cabin, where you'll need to bend down to reach a small plastic cover. These two boxes control different electrical systems—the former handles engine-related components, while the latter manages interior functions like cabin lights. Before any operation, it's recommended to take photos to record the original fuse positions. After replacement, ensure the covers are tightly closed to prevent dust or water ingress.

I've been driving the Vios for three years and gradually got familiar with the fuse box locations. The most noticeable one is the box in the engine compartment - after opening the hood, it's located in the corner in front of the cabin, just lift the black plastic cover to see the fuses. Another one is hidden at the lower left side of the steering wheel inside the car, you need to reach out to feel the cover. Once when my cigarette lighter lost power, I solved it by checking fuse position No.21 in that steering wheel fuse box. I recommend beginners to first check the diagrams in Chapter 12 of the owner's manual, as positions may vary slightly between different Vios models. Remember to turn off the engine and disconnect power before operation, and use dry cloth for safety first.

Is a Wheel Alignment Necessary After Installing New Tires?

Is a wheel alignment necessary after installing new tires? Because there are certain angles and relative positions between the car tires, steering mechanism, and front and rear axles, these angles and positions may shift after changing tires. At this time, the vehicle may experience issues such as pulling to one side, reduced steering accuracy, an off-center steering wheel, or uneven tire wear, necessitating a timely wheel alignment. Car tires are one of the important components of a vehicle, directly contacting the road surface and working together with the car suspension to mitigate the impacts encountered during driving. They ensure good ride comfort and smooth driving, while also improving the vehicle's traction, braking, and off-road capability.
