Where is the USB port in the Envision?

The USB port in the Envision is located inside the center console. Below are the functions of the USB port: 1. Charging mobile devices; 2. Connecting external storage devices to play music; 3. If the navigation supports connectivity, it can also synchronize with communication devices. Additional information: 1. Vehicle dimensions: Taking the 2021 Envision 1.5T as an example, it is a midsize SUV with dimensions of 4694mm in length, 1839mm in width, and 1686mm in height, a wheelbase of 2750mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 66L. 2. Powertrain configuration: The 2021 Buick Envision 1.5T features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. It is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged engine delivering a maximum horsepower of 169PS, a maximum power of 124kW, and a maximum torque of 250Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
I've been driving the Enclave for almost three years, and the USB port locations are actually quite noticeable. The most frequently used ones in the front row are in two places: first, under the center console, in the storage compartment below the air conditioning buttons—just bend down and you'll see two ports, the left one is a standard USB and the right one is the newer flat type; second, inside the center armrest, on the driver's side when you lift the lid, there's another standard USB. The rear ones are hidden below the rear air vents—just flip open a small cover to access them. I recommend using the one in the front storage compartment, as the cable won’t interfere with the gearshift. Last week when I picked up my kid from school, I used that port to charge and play cartoons, with the cable threading through the storage gap just long enough to reach the back seat.
As someone who frequently drives long distances, I'm very satisfied with the USB design in the Envision. The two most commonly used ports while driving are located along the lower edge of the center console: one on the left side of the wireless charging pad (if equipped), and another hidden on the inner right side of the open storage compartment below. For CarPlay connection, I recommend using the port in the storage compartment as it keeps cables more concealed. I usually use the port inside the center armrest for USB flash drives to play music. It's worth noting that post-2018 models added a dedicated charging port with a charging indicator in front of the front cup holders, which provides more stable current. A reminder to everyone: the rear USB ports are located behind small flaps below the air vents, and they charge phones relatively slower.
