Boyue driver and front passenger seat side airbags are located on the side of the seat back closest to the door (not equipped in the lowest configuration). Airbag components: Mainly composed of airbag sensors, anti-collision airbags, and electronic control devices. The driver-side anti-collision airbag is installed in the steering wheel; the passenger-side anti-collision airbag is generally installed on the dashboard. Airbag sensors are installed on the left, right, and middle of the cabin partition; the middle airbag sensor and airbag system are installed together with the electronic control device. Airbag principle: When a collision occurs while the car is in motion, the airbag sensors first receive the impact signal. Once the specified intensity is reached, the sensor activates and sends a signal to the electronic controller. Upon receiving the signal, the electronic controller compares it with its stored data. If the conditions for airbag deployment are met, the drive circuit sends an activation signal to the gas generator in the airbag assembly. The gas generator ignites the gas-generating agent upon receiving the signal, producing a large amount of gas. After filtration and cooling, the gas enters the airbag, causing it to rapidly expand through the padding in an extremely short time. This forms an elastic cushion in front of the driver or passenger, which then promptly deflates and contracts, absorbing the impact energy. This effectively protects the head and chest from or reduces the severity of injuries.
