Where is the oil leaking from the rear wheel?

There are two possible scenarios for oil leakage from a car's rear wheel: 1. Damaged rear wheel bearing leaking grease: Check if the rear wheel oil seal is intact. If the oil seal isn't properly installed, reinstall it or replace it with a new one. If the seal is intact, then the leak isn't from the oil seal. 2. Shock absorber oil: Inspect the rear shock absorber. If there's significant oil staining on the shock absorber, it indicates leakage. It's advisable to replace the shock absorber with a new one. Generally, there are five types of oil traces inside a car: 1. Gasoline: Colorless, volatile liquid with a pungent odor. 2. Engine oil: Bronze-colored with high viscosity. 3. Gear oil: Golden yellow with relatively low viscosity. 4. Brake fluid: Light yellow with the lowest viscosity, easily evaporates. 5. Power steering fluid: Red with extremely low viscosity, smells similar to household sewing machine oil.
