The Langdong does not have a keyhole. The white button below the right side of the steering wheel is the one-button start button. Vehicles with one-button start are usually equipped with a keyless entry function. Keyless entry function: Generally, keys with keyless entry function will have the mechanical key folded or hidden inside. For conventional folding keys, you can directly open them to find the keyhole to unlock the door. If the key is hidden, the mechanical key is usually concealed within the main key and can be pulled out when needed to open the car door. Mechanical keyholes are divided into: Two types: hidden and exposed. A reminder: many car models now come with a factory-installed anti-theft system. If the vehicle is entered without unlocking via the sensing key, it may trigger an alarm. Therefore, using a mechanical key to enter the vehicle may be judged by the anti-theft system as an abnormal door opening, resulting in an alarm sound.

I usually drive the Elantra with the push-button start version. As for the keyhole, I was also confused for a few days when I first bought it. It's not near the steering wheel or dashboard but cleverly hidden in the driver's side door handle. There's a small square slot or cover on the inner side of the door handle—just push it gently to open, revealing the standard keyhole. This is mainly used for mechanically unlocking the door, such as in emergencies when the smart key runs out of battery or fails. Starting the engine still relies on the push-button start inside the car, usually located near the steering column or on the center console. I remember once when my key battery died, I used this hole to get into the car and then placed the manual key near the button to successfully start it. The design is quite thoughtful—it stays hidden without affecting the appearance, is easy to locate, but don't fiddle with it unnecessarily. Keep the cover intact to prevent dust.

Where are the clutch, brake, and accelerator located?

The positions of the clutch, brake, and accelerator: From left to right, they are the clutch, brake, and accelerator. It is crucial to distinguish them clearly while driving to avoid stepping on the wrong pedal in emergencies, which could lead to traffic accidents. The accelerator, brake, and clutch in a car are separate. The clutch is on the left and controlled by the left foot, while the accelerator and brake are on the right, both pedals controlled by the right foot. The clutch is a key component for gear shifting in a car. When starting the car, the clutch must be lifted slowly until the car reaches a semi-engaged state, then gently pressing the accelerator will allow the car to start smoothly. The brake is on the left, and the accelerator is on the right. When braking, avoid sudden stops; instead, apply pressure gradually from light to heavy, as frequent sudden braking can damage the braking system. The accelerator can instantly increase the car's RPM when starting. When the engine RPM reaches a certain range, it is essential to shift gears promptly and then gradually increase the accelerator to prevent jerking during acceleration.

Is the engine oil pan attached to the engine block?

Engine oil pan is attached to the engine block. Functions of engine oil pan: The engine oil pan serves as an enclosed crankcase that acts as an oil reservoir, preventing contaminants from entering. It collects and stores lubricating oil flowing back from various friction surfaces of the diesel engine, dissipates some heat, and prevents oil oxidation. Structure of engine oil pan: The oil pan is mostly made of stamped thin steel plates, equipped with internal oil stabilizing baffles to prevent excessive oil splashing caused by engine vibration, which facilitates the sedimentation of lubricant impurities. A dipstick is installed on the side to check oil level. Additionally, an oil drain plug is installed at the lowest point of the oil pan bottom.
