The fuel pump relay of the Beidou Star is located on the left side of the engine compartment. On the left side, there are the compressor relay, fuel pump relay, main relay, and radiator fan relay. If the fuel pump relay is damaged, the engine will not start. If the headlight relay is damaged, the headlights will not turn on. Working Principle: When a certain voltage or current is applied to both ends of the electromagnetic relay coil, the magnetic flux generated by the coil passes through the magnetic circuit composed of the iron core, yoke, armature, and working air gap. Under the action of the magnetic field, the armature is attracted to the pole face of the iron core, thereby pushing the normally closed contacts to open and the normally open contacts to close. When the voltage or current at both ends of the coil is less than a certain value, and the mechanical reaction force is greater than the electromagnetic attraction force, the armature returns to its initial state, the normally open contacts open, and the normally closed contacts close. An aggregate composed of two parts: The automotive relay can be viewed as an aggregate composed of two parts: the control circuit where the coil operates and the main circuit where the contacts operate. In the control circuit of the relay, there is only a relatively small operating current. This is because the contact capacity of the operating switch is small and cannot be used to directly control loads with high power consumption. The relay contacts are used to control the on/off state. Relay: A relay is both a control switch and a controlled object (actuator). Taking the fuel pump relay as an example, it is the control switch for the fuel pump. However, the coil of the fuel pump relay can only form a circuit through the grounding point in the electronic control unit when the driving transistor in the electronic control unit is turned on.

How to Clean the Throttle Body Properly?

Cleaning the throttle body involves the following steps: 1. Turn off the ignition switch and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery; 2. Remove the throttle cable, intake hose, and the screws securing the throttle body in sequence; 3. Use a cleaning agent to clean the throttle body, and for hard-to-reach areas, use a cotton swab for wiping. The throttle body is a controllable valve that regulates air intake into the engine. After entering the intake pipe, the air mixes with gasoline to form a combustible mixture, which then burns to produce power. Symptoms of throttle body malfunction include: 1. Engine failing to start or idling roughly, unstable operation, and fluctuating RPM; 2. Constant engine RPM, uncontrollable operation, and illumination of the malfunction indicator light; 3. Noticeable sluggishness in vehicle acceleration; 4. Abnormal noises from the exhaust pipe.

What Causes a Puddle of Oil Under the Car After Refueling?

The reason for a puddle of oil appearing under the car after refueling is that the fuel tank is overfilled. Gasoline is prone to evaporation, which produces gas. If the fuel tank is too full, there isn't enough space to accommodate the gas, leading to tank expansion or even fuel overflow, resulting in the phenomenon of oil leaking under the car. Gasoline is the fuel for car engines. The method to extract gasoline from the car is: 1. Open the engine hood and locate the fuel line connecting the engine to the fuel tank; 2. After removing the fuel line, connect a plastic tube to a container; 3. Open the vehicle's relay box and unplug the fuel pump relay; 4. Connect wires to the relay socket; 5. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the 'on' position to start extracting the fuel.

How to Adjust a Three-Band Car Audio Equalizer for Optimal Sound?

The method to adjust a three-band car audio equalizer for optimal sound is as follows: 1. Bass range: Set the center frequency between 60Hz and 250Hz; 2. Midrange: The center frequency can be adjusted between 1kHz and 4kHz; 3. Treble range: The center frequency should be set between 6kHz and 15kHz. The steps to adjust the car audio equalizer are: 1. Open the player, play a song, and select the equalizer; 2. Choose the custom option and make the corresponding settings; 3. Understand the instruments and effects enhanced by each frequency band of the equalizer. Frequencies between 20Hz and 40Hz can make the music powerful; 4. Frequencies between 40Hz and 150Hz form the foundational part of the sound, making it full and soft.

What does the mode mean in an automatic transmission car?

In an automatic transmission car, 'mode' refers to switching driving modes. The following is a detailed introduction to car driving modes: 1. Eco mode: A more economical and fuel-efficient driving method, suitable for daily commuting. In this mode, the fuel injection volume and transmission control module are managed by the computer, which adjusts the most energy-efficient driving method for the car. This mode offers the lowest fuel consumption but also the least power. Additionally, in this mode, as the transmission control module is managed by the computer, the throttle response is less sensitive, and the engine response is also slower. 2. Normal mode: Using the controls in normal mode, the car's throttle response is more balanced, offering a simpler and more comfortable driving experience. 3. Sport mode: By increasing engine speed or quickly downshifting, the vehicle can instantly deliver greater power.

What Lights Should Be Turned On Before Entering a Tunnel?

When entering a tunnel, you should turn on the contour lights and low beam headlights. Here are some precautions for using car lights: 1. Driving in foggy weather: Due to poor visibility in foggy conditions, not only should you turn on the hazard warning lights, but also the fog lights to alert passing vehicles. 2. In case of a breakdown: Or when a traffic accident occurs, you should turn on the hazard warning lights to alert passing vehicles for safety. On highways, if a vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident and stops, failure to use lights and set up warning signs as required will result in a 12-point penalty. 3. Towing a faulty vehicle: Both the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle should turn on the hazard warning lights to alert passing vehicles that they are in an abnormal state. 4. Temporary parking: Turn on the hazard warning lights to alert other vehicles.

What Causes the Skid Light to Illuminate and How to Address It?

The skid system light primarily refers to the ESP malfunction indicator. When the anti-skid light illuminates, it indicates that the ESP is either turned off or experiencing a malfunction. Below are the reasons for the anti-skid light coming on and the corresponding solutions: 1. Requires restarting: Accidentally pressing the ESP off button. If the ESP off button is mistakenly pressed, simply reactivating it will clear the anti-skid light. 2. Requires inspection and repair: (1) The sensor connector is loose or malfunctioning. (2) There is a short circuit in the wiring or the related fuse has blown. (3) Software issues causing poor signal transmission. (4) ABS pump failure.
