Where is the fuel pump located in a car?

Automotive fuel pumps are located inside the fuel tank. Functions of the fuel pump: To draw gasoline from the fuel tank and deliver it through pipelines and fuel filters to the float chamber of the carburetor, supplying fuel to the engine. Working principle of the fuel pump: The fuel pump delivers high-pressure fuel to the fuel rail, ensuring a continuous supply of fuel to the fuel injectors. The fuel pump consists of an electric motor, a pressure limiter, and a check valve. The electric motor actually operates within the fuel inside the pump housing, as there is nothing inside the housing that can ignite. The gasoline lubricates and cools the electric motor. A check valve is installed at the fuel outlet, and the pressure limiter is located on the pressure side of the pump housing, with a passage leading to the fuel inlet.
