ATS cabin air filter is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side. The specific steps to access it are: Looking from bottom to top, there's a screw on the glove compartment. Use a screwdriver to pry it open slightly, then remove the screw. Pull out the CD player casing with force to reveal a panel. Press the clip at the bottom and the panel will automatically come off, allowing you to pull out the cabin air filter. When driving with air conditioning on, the system draws in outside air which contains various impurities and particulates such as pollen, dust, sulfur dioxide, and carbon dioxide. The cabin air filter serves to filter out these particulates and impurities, ensuring fresh air inside the vehicle.
I remember finding the cabin air filter location on the ATS was quite straightforward—it's hidden beneath the dashboard on the passenger side, specifically behind the glove compartment.
