Where are the drainage outlets of the sunroof located?

The drainage outlets of the sunroof are generally located at the four corners of the car's sunroof. Rainwater is discharged through these outlets from the positions of the A-pillar and C-pillar of the car. Here are some precautions regarding the use of the sunroof: 1. Before opening the sunroof, check if there are any obstacles on the roof that might hinder the movement of the glass panel. The sunroof panel is designed to block heat and UV rays; it should be cleaned with a soft cloth and cleaner, and sticky cleaners should be avoided. 2. In winter, after snow or car washing, the sunroof glass and sealing rubber frame might freeze. Do not force the sunroof open in such cases, as it could damage the sunroof motor and rubber seals. 3. On extremely bumpy roads, it is best not to fully open the sunroof, as excessive vibration between the sunroof and the sliding rails could cause deformation of related components or even damage the motor.
I've driven several cars, and the sunroof drainage outlets are usually hidden in the body seams. For the most common family cars, the front drainage outlets are basically located in the seams of the panels below the windshield on both sides of the engine compartment. You can feel a small black rubber nozzle with your hand. The rear drainage outlets are even more concealed, typically hidden in the panels where the C-pillar trim meets the trunk. I remember last time when I cleaned my Tiguan, after removing the sealing strip at the top of the door, I could see the drainage hose running along the A-pillar all the way to the side of the door hinge. Important reminder: drainage outlets are often overlooked. If they get clogged with spring leaves or mud, the sunroof will leak and soak the roof, leaving a musty smell in the car. Regularly blowing out the small tubes of the drainage outlets with an air gun is much cheaper than repairing the roof lining.
