The BMW M5 Competition features a double-wishbone independent suspension at the front and a multi-link independent suspension at the rear. Here are the relevant details: 1. The BMW M5 Competition is equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which delivers a maximum power output of 460 kW and a maximum torque of 750 Nm. The engine reaches its peak power at 6,000 rpm and its maximum torque between 1,800 and 5,860 rpm. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 2. The double-wishbone suspension can absorb more impacts, thereby improving the car's comfort and reducing brake dive and body roll. The multi-link suspension enhances the wheel's contact with the road, improving traction and the car's handling performance.

As an owner of the BMW M5 Competition, I've personally experienced its suspension system—front wheels equipped with double-wishbone suspension and rear wheels with a multi-link setup, which are standard for high-performance cars. However, in the Competition version, the suspension is tuned to be stiffer, the ride height is lowered by about 10mm compared to the standard M5, and it comes with an adaptive electronic damping system. When pushing it on mountain roads, the suspension responds incredibly quickly, keeping the body stable through corners, while in Comfort mode, it softens up, making city commutes quite comfortable. The electronic control part of the suspension adjusts in real-time via sensors, which is particularly impressive during aggressive driving, offering a high handling limit. The suspension components are made of high-quality materials, ensuring good durability, but regular maintenance is essential to avoid unwanted noises. Overall, this suspension system strikes a balance between sportiness and daily usability in the M5 Competition, delivering driving pleasure that far exceeds expectations.

I often drive the M5 Competition in the city, and its suspension impresses me—standard double-wishbone front suspension paired with a multi-link rear suspension, with the overall setup being quite firm. When switched to Comfort mode, the damping softens a bit, making it smoother over speed bumps without being too jarring. But when you switch to Sport mode, the suspension tightens up immediately, providing an incredibly stable feel. This design gives it excellent performance in high-speed cornering, with minimal body roll. The electronic adaptive function of the suspension is quite practical, adjusting perfectly for rainy days or rough roads. I also pay attention to suspension maintenance—replacement parts aren’t cheap, but the durability is high. The suspension components are lowered by 10mm, giving it a sportier look and a more planted feel on the road. Overall, the optimized suspension system makes this car both thrilling and reliable to drive.

The BMW M5 Competition features a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. The suspension tuning is stiffer, and the ride height is slightly lowered. In terms of maintenance, suspension components such as springs and dampers have been upgraded for enhanced durability. It's important to inspect the suspension for wear after aggressive driving. The electronic control components require professional diagnostics.

Thinking back to the early BMW M5, the suspension was much simpler. The current Competition version continues the standard M5's double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension setup, but the suspension height has been lowered by about 10mm, and the damping has been stiffened. With the addition of the electronic adaptive system, the handling has become more precise. When driving, you can feel the advantages brought by the evolution of the suspension.

What are the consequences of mistakenly adding diesel to a gasoline car?

If diesel is accidentally added to a gasoline car, it may result in symptoms such as engine shaking, black smoke from the exhaust, or even failure to start the engine. This happens because diesel requires a different compression ratio, fuel delivery method, and ignition system compared to gasoline engines, making them incompatible. Additional information: Differences between diesel and gasoline engines: 1. Injection method differs: Gasoline engines (except for direct-injection engines) mix gasoline with air before drawing it into the cylinder, while diesel engines directly inject diesel into the cylinder already filled with compressed air. 2. Ignition method differs: Diesel engines rely on compression for auto-ignition, whereas gasoline engines require spark plugs to ignite the air-fuel mixture. 3. Compression ratio differs: Diesel engines generally have a higher compression ratio than gasoline engines, resulting in greater expansion ratio and thermal efficiency, leading to lower fuel consumption compared to gasoline engines.

How to Read the Fuel Gauge on a Jetta?

On the fuel gauge, 'F' stands for full, using the first letter of 'full', and 'E' means enough. Even when the fuel gauge points to 'E', there is still a small amount of fuel left in the tank to support the driver in reaching a gas station. The fuel gauge displays the fuel level through a float in the fuel tank connected to a metal rod, a principle similar to the water tank in a bathroom toilet. Here are some related introductions about the car fuel gauge: 1. Introduction one: The position of the float on the surface of the fuel in the tank changes, which is transmitted via the metal rod to alter its position on a variable resistor. This variable resistor is then connected to the car's fuel gauge, and the movement of the fuel gauge pointer is controlled by the amount of current passing through the variable resistor. 2. Introduction two: The car fuel gauge is highly functional and advanced. It can display the real-time fuel level in the car's tank, accurately informing the owner about the fuel consumption and the remaining fuel storage. The owner can also make judgments based on the fuel gauge display, such as whether to refuel or how many more miles can be driven. 3. Introduction three: The fuel gauge acts like a warning light for the car's life. It is an indicator on the engine that displays the fuel level, either with a pointer or digitally. Therefore, current car fuel gauges are mainly divided into two types: digital display fuel gauges and pointer fuel display gauges.

How is the quality of the Geely Emgrand CVT transmission?

The Geely New Emgrand CVT transmission comes from the Belgian company Punch. Compared to the complex traditional planetary gear set AT transmission, the CVT has a relatively simpler structure. Taking the most common belt-type CVT as an example, its core components for achieving variable transmission ratios are two pulleys and a steel belt. Relevant introductions about the Geely Emgrand are as follows: 1. Introduction one: The all-new Geely Emgrand offers a 1.5L+5MT/CVT powertrain combination, with a total of 6 models available, including 3 manual and 3 CVT models. 2. Introduction two: The new Emgrand adopts the latest design elements of the Geely family, with the single waistline design being retained. Compared to the current models, it looks more upscale. The front grille continues the family-style water ripple design, but with the addition of many black squares inside, giving it a more layered appearance. 3. Introduction three: The all-new Emgrand has made significant progress in safety considerations and is equipped with an integrated system including ABS anti-lock braking system, EBD electronic brake-force distribution system, ESC electronic stability control system, HAC hill-start assist system, HBA brake assist system, and TCS traction control system, placing it at a leading level in its class.

Can the Hybrid Leiling Switch to Pure Fuel Mode?

Toyota Hybrid Leiling can indeed switch to pure fuel mode. Below are the methods for switching the Toyota Leiling hybrid to pure fuel mode: 1. Method One: The Leiling Hybrid relies solely on the electric motor for driving at low-speed starts, while under normal driving conditions, the engine and motor drive separately. 2. Method Two: During full acceleration, both the engine and motor operate at full capacity simultaneously, while the engine stops working during deceleration. 3. Method Three: The energy generated during braking is also converted into electricity, so the Leiling Hybrid is a hybrid model that does not require external charging. For more details, you can consult your local 4S store.
