The Baojun 510 is suitable for SM/GF-4 5W-30 type engine oil. Engine Oil: Each engine oil package is labeled with the oil grade, such as a series of numbers like "5W-40". The number before the W represents the oil's low-temperature fluidity; the smaller the number, the more suitable it is for cold weather. The number after the W represents the oil's viscosity at 100 degrees; the larger the number, the more suitable it is for high-temperature conditions. Engine Requirements for Oil: As a mechanical device, the engine requires lubricating oil with appropriate viscosity and certain properties such as oxidation resistance, wear resistance, corrosion protection, and viscosity-temperature performance. The friction surfaces of the engine reach very high temperatures, which can reduce the oil's viscosity and make it difficult to form an oil film. Therefore, the lubricating oil must also be able to function effectively under high heat. High-temperature, high-pressure combustion gases in the combustion chamber can leak into the crankcase through the gaps between the piston, piston rings, and cylinder liner. These combustion gases are the result of complete and incomplete combustion of fuel and a small amount of lubricating oil, producing gases and certain particulates (soot), which are usually the main components of crankcase blow-by. These gases can contaminate the lubricating oil and, under certain conditions, accelerate its oxidation.
