What type of electrode is the E43 electrode?
1 Answers
Belongs to the type of electrode with a deposited metal tensile strength ≥421MPa (4300kgf/cm^2). E43 electrode: Called carbon steel electrode, the type is very similar to the T42 electrode. Moreover, the E43 electrode has a deposited metal tensile strength that needs to be above 42 MPa. The letter E in the electrode indicates the type of electrode. The first two numbers, 43, represent the minimum value of the deposited metal tensile strength. The numbers following the model indicate the welding position. Advantages of electrode welding: Electrode welding is relatively fast, with greater depth and a smaller probability of deformation. It can be used for welding at room temperature or in special environments, and the welding facilities required are relatively simple.
