What type of driver's license is required to drive a medium-sized bus?

To drive a medium-sized bus, a B1 driver's license is required. The B1 license allows the holder to operate medium-sized passenger vehicles (including urban buses with a capacity of 10 to 19 passengers) as well as vehicle types C1, C2, C3, C4, and M. The first category is medium-sized buses with fewer than 19 seats. The second category is medium-sized passenger vehicles with 19 to 32 seats. The third category is urban buses.
