There are various sensors in a car, including knock sensor, water temperature sensor, intake air temperature sensor, air flow sensor, wheel speed sensor, oxygen sensor, camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, throttle position sensor, coolant temperature sensor, ABS sensor, etc. Taking the ABS sensor as an example, it is applied in the anti-lock braking system of motor vehicles. The ABS sensor uses an inductive sensor to monitor vehicle speed. By interacting with a toothed ring that rotates synchronously with the wheel, the ABS sensor outputs a set of quasi-sinusoidal AC signals whose frequency and amplitude are related to the wheel speed. This output signal is transmitted to the ABS electronic control unit to achieve real-time monitoring of wheel speed.
