As an ordinary person who drives frequently, I go for the annual vehicle inspection here in Beijing every year. The process is actually quite simple but requires attention to detail. After that is the brake performance test, where the car runs on rollers to measure braking distance. The whole process usually takes one to two hours and costs around 100 to 200 yuan. I recommend going early to avoid peak times, and regular maintenance can reduce the risk of failure.
