What is the normal gasoline pressure for Jianghuai Refine?

Jianghuai Refine's normal gasoline pressure is between 300-350kPa. Direct Injection: For vehicles with direct injection, the fuel pressure generally fluctuates around 0.3MPa. The fuel injectors installed on the cylinder head spray gasoline directly into the cylinder. This injection system requires higher injection pressure, approximately 3-5MPa. Therefore, the structure and arrangement of the injectors are relatively complex. Port Injection: In port injection systems, the injectors are installed on the intake pipe or intake manifold, spraying gasoline into the intake pipe or intake port at a pressure of 0.20-0.35MPa. The former is called intake pipe injection, while the latter is called intake port injection. Currently, intake port injection is widely used in gasoline engine electronic control systems.
I have repaired many Jianghuai Refine vehicles, where the normal fuel pressure ranges between 2.8 to 3.2 bar, averaging around 3.0 bar. To measure this pressure, a fuel pressure gauge needs to be connected to the fuel rail for inspection. A reading below this range may indicate an aging fuel pump or a clogged filter, potentially causing hard starts or engine shaking; while a pressure above 3.5 bar often suggests a faulty return valve, leading to increased fuel consumption. From my experience, I've seen cases where owners struggled for hours only to find out the issue was caused by loose wiring connections leading to inaccurate readings, so I recommend having a professional perform the test accurately. Unstable pressure can result in insufficient power or even engine stalling, which affects driving safety. I suggest checking it during annual maintenance—don’t skimp on cost or time. Regularly replacing the fuel filter can also help prevent such issues.
