Bleeding the hydraulic power steering pump is more reliable when done in steps. Step 2: Dynamic bleeding - With the engine running and wheels off the ground (either by jacking up the front wheels or using a lift), quickly turn the steering wheel left and right 90 degrees while maintaining engine speed at 800 RPM for 10 minutes.
