What is the installation method for the car wiper linkage?

Disconnect the wiper motor plug, lift the black cap at the fixed end of the wiper linkage, and pull it outward. Lift the wiper linkage arm (optional). Remove the fixing screw of the linkage rocker arm. Hold the wiper arm and pull it up and down to remove the wiper arm. Press the vent mesh buckle downward. After complete removal, take off the vent mesh. Use a 10mm socket to remove the fixing screw of the wiper swing shaft. Use a screwdriver to forcefully remove the wiper motor fixing screw and pull the motor outward. After removing the motor, push the linkage to the right within the vent cavity, then pull the linkage out from the left cavity hole toward the upper left. Reassemble in reverse order.
Installing the wiper linkage requires careful attention. First, lift the wiper arm away from the windshield, then press the small tab to remove the old wiper blade. Align the new linkage with the U-joint on the wiper arm until you hear a 'click' to ensure it's securely locked in place. The key is to align the connection direction correctly—if installed backward, the blade will vibrate excessively. Last time I installed it, I noticed grease buildup on the ball joint at the wiper arm connection. Cleaning it with brake cleaner and applying some lubricant made the movement much smoother. After installation, don't rush to finish—test the wiping range with some windshield washer fluid to ensure the bracket doesn't hit the A-pillar. While you're at it, clear any leaves from the drainage channel to prevent clogging and corrosion of the linkage.
