What is the function of car power windows?

The function of car power windows is to allow the driver or passengers to operate a switch that activates the circuit of the window lift motor. The power generated by the motor is transmitted through a series of mechanical drives to raise or lower the window glass as needed. The power window system mainly consists of a lift control switch, motor, lift mechanism, relay, etc. The motor typically uses a bidirectional permanent magnet motor, which can rotate forward or reverse by controlling the current direction to achieve the window lifting and lowering function. There is usually a window lock switch on the window; once it is turned off, the power window switch will no longer function. Working principle of power windows: The front doors feature one-touch up/down with anti-pinch functionality, so the BCM directly controls the front door switches and front door motors to achieve one-touch operation and anti-pinch control. The rear door motors do not have one-touch up/down with anti-pinch functionality and are therefore not connected to the BCM. The driver's side switch can not only control its own window but also the other three windows and can lock the power windows, which is designed to facilitate the driver's overall control of the vehicle. The switches on the other three doors can only control their own window glass.
