The car generator is the main power source of the vehicle. Its principle is based on coils cutting magnetic induction lines to generate current. The faster the coil rotates, the greater the current and voltage. There are no permanent magnets in a car generator; the magnetic field is generated by the coils. The rotor of the generator is the coil that produces the magnetic field. During operation, the battery first supplies power to the rotor coil to generate a magnetic field, and then as the rotor rotates, it creates a rotating magnetic field and induces electricity in the stator coils.
