What is the fuel tank capacity of the Volkswagen Polo?

There are currently 6 models of the Volkswagen Polo available for sale or soon to be launched. The 2022 Polo model has a fuel tank capacity of 42.5 liters. It comes with one displacement option of 1.5L and two transmission choices: manual and automatic. The engine delivers a maximum power of 83.0kW, maximum horsepower of 113PS, and maximum torque of 145.0N·m. The vehicle dimensions are 4053×1740×1449mm (length×width×height). The fuel tank capacities for the 2019, 2021, and 2022 Polo models are all 42.5 liters. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel may exceed the calibrated capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity specified by the manufacturer is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safe fill level. There is additional space from the safe fill level to the tank opening, which is designed to allow for fuel expansion when temperatures rise, preventing overflow. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual amount of fuel added may exceed the calibrated tank capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, drivers can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, which is marked with 'E' and 'F'. When the needle is close to 'E', it indicates low fuel, while proximity to 'F' means the tank is nearly full.
