What is the fuel tank capacity of the Verna?

The 2020 Verna models all have a fuel tank capacity of 43L. The entire lineup is equipped with a 1.4L naturally aspirated engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission (MT), and all models feature front-wheel drive. In the same vehicle class, the 2022 Polo has a fuel tank capacity of 42.5 liters, while the 2021 LIFE has a 40-liter tank. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel may exceed the calibrated capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity specified by automakers is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safety limit, with additional space remaining from the safety limit to the tank opening. This extra space ensures that the fuel can expand when temperatures rise without overflowing. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual amount may exceed the specified capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, drivers can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, marked with 'E' and 'F'. When the needle is close to 'E', it indicates low fuel, while nearing 'F' means the tank is nearly full.
