The Peugeot 307 has a fuel consumption of 8.0 liters per 100 kilometers. Here is some relevant information: Body strength: On one hand, in the event of a collision, specially designed impact absorption zones reduce the impact on passengers, enhancing passenger protection. On the other hand, the overall body ensures excellent grounding performance, significantly improving driving safety. The Peugeot 307 series enjoys a high global reputation and is an outstanding representative in the mid-size car market. The Dongfeng Peugeot 307 not only retains the distinctive technologies and performance of the French Peugeot 307 series but also incorporates many high-tech features. It has undergone multiple rigorous scientific tests and adjustments in China, making it a perfect blend of comfort and dynamism in a sedan. It is suitable for both business purposes and meets the aesthetic, convenience, and practical needs of family use. Power performance: The Dongfeng Peugeot 307 shares the same design philosophy as other models in the series, featuring a transversely mounted engine, front-wheel drive, four-wheel independent suspension, and comprehensive active and passive safety devices. Human-centric design is evident throughout. The wheelbase measures 2.61 meters. The car is 4.47 meters long, 1.76 meters wide, and 1.51 meters tall, with a trunk capacity of 506 cubic decimeters, making it a leader in its class.

I've been driving a manual 307 for two and a half years. In summer with AC on all the time, it averages around 7.8L/100km, while in winter it's about 7.3L/100km. On pure highway driving, it can drop to 6.5L, but once stuck in traffic, fuel consumption immediately spikes above 9L. I recommend veteran owners clean throttle carbon deposits regularly - this car's fuel consumption is particularly sensitive to road conditions. Also, it's best to stick to one gas station for refueling. When I switched stations before, it inexplicably burned an extra liter. Tire pressure must be maintained at 2.4 bar - lower pressure increases fuel consumption and causes uneven tire wear.

Is the Passat equipped with a dry or wet transmission?

The Passat 2.0T uses a wet dual-clutch transmission, while the 1.4T model is equipped with the DQ200 dry dual-clutch transmission. Compared to traditional AT transmissions, the advantage of dual-clutch transmissions is their lighter weight. The internal structure of dual-clutch transmissions is also very similar to manual transmissions, both using gear meshing for power transmission. AT transmissions, on the other hand, use planetary gear sets internally for power transmission, resulting in a more compact structure. The Passat is a mid-size sedan designed by Volkswagen AG in Germany, classified as a B-segment car in the Volkswagen lineup. In terms of body dimensions, the Passat measures 4870mm in length, 1834mm in width, and 1472mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2803mm. Exterior-wise, the Passat features PHEV side badges on both front fenders. The interior remains unchanged. For body colors, the China VI version offers Champagne Gold, Basalt Black, Elegant White, and Pearl Silver, while the China V version additionally provides Coral Red and Crystal Gray as options.

What to Do When Brakes Fail During High-Speed Driving?

Solutions for brake failure during high-speed driving: 1. Pull over or slow down promptly: If you notice that the braking distance has increased or the brakes are not functioning properly, pull over or slow down immediately and avoid continuing to drive at high speed. Vehicles on highways should promptly stop in the emergency lane and call for assistance. 2. Use the handbrake wisely to control the vehicle: If you encounter brake failure on a continuous downhill slope or steep descent, first try pulling the handbrake to see if it can stop the car. When pulling the handbrake, avoid yanking it all the way or too quickly, as this may damage the handbrake. Instead, apply gradual force and slowly pull the handbrake to its full extent. 3. Downshift to control speed: If the handbrake slows the car too slowly or fails, promptly attempt to downshift forcefully to use a lower gear to slow the vehicle. Once the speed is reduced, combine this with the handbrake to bring the car to a gradual stop. (1) Manual transmission models: Immediately press the clutch pedal and shift the gear lever to neutral to disconnect power from the wheels. Then, slowly pull over to the roadside, turn off the engine, and inspect or call for assistance. (2) Automatic transmission models: Try pressing the brake pedal firmly to force the car to slow down significantly. Then, shift the gear lever to N (neutral) and pull over. 4. Look for an emergency escape lane: If neither the handbrake nor downshifting works, honk loudly, turn on hazard lights to alert other vehicles to yield, and promptly look for a suitable section of the road to slow down, such as an uphill slope or the emergency escape lanes set up on highways and continuous downhill sections. Emergency escape lanes are located on the right side of the main lane and are commonly found on continuous downhill slopes or highway descents. If the brakes fail, try entering the emergency escape lane, which is equipped with gravel and water pools to assist in slowing down the vehicle.

What are the lines on the car hood called?

The lines on the car hood are called panel reinforcement ribs, and they vary across different brands and models. These lines serve multiple purposes, including decoration, enhancing hood stiffness, airflow disruption, and avoiding direct sunlight exposure. The hood is typically made of rubber foam and aluminum foil materials, which help reduce engine noise while simultaneously isolating heat generated during engine operation, effectively protecting the paint surface and preventing aging. Specific functions of panel reinforcement ribs: 1. Decorative function: The distribution of lines on the hood differs among various car models, making the hood no longer look plain and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the car's front; 2. Enhancing hood stiffness: The addition of panel reinforcement ribs to the car hood increases its stiffness to some extent, making it less prone to deformation during frontal collisions; 3. Airflow disruption: The lines on the car hood can disperse airflow encountered during high-speed driving to a certain degree, improving aerodynamics, reducing air resistance, and consequently lowering fuel consumption.
