The official claim is a combined fuel consumption of around 7.8L/100km, but my actual experience shows it often approaches 9L in city driving, while dropping below 7L on highways. Driving habits make a big difference—rapid acceleration and frequent braking can cause fuel consumption to soar, whereas cruising on highways is more fuel-efficient. The AX7 comes with a 1.5T engine paired with a 6AT transmission, which provides adequate power but tends to be less fuel-efficient in congested urban areas. I recommend regularly checking tire pressure and the air filter, as even a 0.2bar drop in tire pressure can significantly increase fuel consumption. Some owners in car groups report even lower fuel consumption by maintaining smooth driving and avoiding short trips. Overall, the car's fuel efficiency is reasonable for its price, placing it in the middle range among SUVs in its class.
