Linglong Tire is the second largest tire manufacturer in China, known as Linglong Tire. Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. was established in 1975 and is a professional and large-scale tire production enterprise. The company is located in Zhaoyuan City, known as the 'Golden Capital of China.' Currently, the company has achieved serialized production of special tires, semi-steel radial tires, and all-steel radial tires, gradually advancing toward specialization and large-scale production in the tire industry. When using Linglong tires, the following points should be noted: Regularly check the tire surface for cracks, deformations, or other defects. Due to driving wear, the tread grooves of the tires gradually become shallower. If the tread pattern is worn flat, it will lose its drainage and anti-skid functions, significantly reducing the vehicle's performance. Small cracks may seem minor but can pose a hidden danger of tire blowouts during high-speed driving. Additionally, promptly remove pebbles lodged in the grooves. Park on level ground whenever possible. Avoid parking on roads with thick, sharp, or pointed stones. Do not park near or in contact with petroleum products, acids, or other materials that may cause rubber deterioration. After parking, the driver should avoid turning the steering wheel, as this action can accelerate tire wear. Do not splash water to cool overheated tires. In hot weather or during high-speed driving, tires are prone to overheating, and the pressure may increase. In such cases, park the vehicle to allow the tires to cool naturally. Never release air to reduce pressure or splash water to cool the tires, as this may cause abnormal aging of the tread rubber. Avoid sudden braking. Try to minimize frequent or abrupt braking to prevent accelerated tread wear caused by dragging between the tires and the ground.

Linglong Tires is a pretty well-known brand in China, mainly producing tires for sedans and SUVs. I've driven on Linglong tires several times myself and found them to offer great value for money. They're affordable and suitable for daily commuting, performing steadily on both city roads and rural paths. After switching to Linglong, I used them for about two years with minimal tread wear, and they provided decent grip in rainy conditions. The downside is that they can be a bit noisy at high speeds, so they might not be ideal for those who prioritize quietness. Advantages include long lifespan—with regular pressure checks and tire rotations, they can last over five years. Compared to premium brands like Michelin, Linglong saves a lot of money while delivering sufficient performance for family cars. When purchasing, pay attention to the model; I recommend choosing H or V speed-rated tires for better safety and handling. Maintenance is straightforward—just regularly clear out small stones and avoid large potholes. Linglong also offers convenient after-sales service, with repair shops widely available.

From my daily experience in car repairs, Linglong tires are a practical choice. The design focuses on durability and affordability, with this Chinese brand producing tires in various sizes suitable for sedans, pickups, and light trucks. Customer feedback after installation reports good grip, especially on dry roads, along with decent wear resistance. The price is budget-friendly—for example, a set of Linglong tires for an ordinary sedan costs just a few hundred yuan, much cheaper than imported brands. The downside is occasional slippage in wet conditions, lacking the stability of brands like Goodyear. The average lifespan is three to four years, extendable with good driving habits. I recommend choosing deeper tread patterns and getting regular wheel alignments. Linglong is quite popular in the global market, especially in China. For new drivers or those on a tight budget, it offers a good balance—neither luxurious nor cheap.

Having driven for many years, my experience with Linglong tires has been quite positive. As a mid-range brand, they offer affordability and reliability, with Chinese manufacturing meeting quality standards. My Linglong tires have endured over ten thousand kilometers with the tread still intact, providing adequate grip under normal road conditions. The reasonable price makes a full set replacement hassle-free. The downside is some noise at high speeds, but it doesn't affect driving. They boast long-lasting durability, requiring only basic maintenance like checking tire pressure and avoiding dragging brakes. Linglong offers a wide range of series, including all-season and winter tires, with standard models like the AT or HT series being recommended. Compared to other brands, Linglong tires are fuel-efficient and cost-effective. Overall, they suit drivers like me who prioritize practicality and durability, ensuring stable and economical daily commutes.

What Does Adaptive Cruise Control Mean?

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) builds upon the speed control functionality of traditional cruise control by further incorporating distance management. Adaptive Cruise Control is an intelligent, fully automated control system that has evolved from existing cruise control technology. During vehicle operation, a front-mounted distance sensor (radar) continuously scans the road ahead, while wheel speed sensors collect vehicle speed data. When the distance to the vehicle ahead becomes too small, the ACC control unit coordinates with the anti-lock braking system and engine control system to apply appropriate wheel braking and reduce engine power output, thereby maintaining a safe following distance. Also known as Active Cruise Control, this system operates similarly to conventional cruise control but incorporates radar sensors, digital signal processors, and control modules. Using low-power radar or infrared beams to obtain precise positioning data, the system sends execution signals to the engine or braking system to reduce speed when it detects deceleration ahead or identifies new targets, ensuring a safe following distance. When road obstacles clear, the system automatically accelerates back to the preset speed while continuously monitoring for the next target. By taking over speed control from the driver, Active Cruise Control eliminates frequent manual cancellation and resetting of cruise settings. Suitable for various road conditions, ACC provides drivers with a more relaxed driving experience.
