I've been driving the Dongfeng Fengxing Sx6 for over half a year now. It comes with two engine options, with the main one being a 1.6L naturally aspirated model producing around 122 horsepower and over 150 Nm of torque. The power delivery is smooth and seamless, making it sufficient for daily commutes or family trips. The fuel efficiency is impressive, with city driving consuming 7-8L/100km, and dropping to around 6.5L on highways, saving a lot on fuel costs by using 92-octane gasoline. It's paired with either a manual or automatic transmission, and I chose the automatic, which shifts without any jerking. The engine sound is decent, quiet at idle, with a slight hum at high RPMs but not bothersome. Maintenance is straightforward, requiring an oil change every 7,500 kilometers, which costs just over 200 yuan at a repair shop. This engine is based on Mitsubishi technology, known for its high reliability, and it hasn't let me down even on suburban roads or uphill drives, making it ideal for budget-conscious family users.

What are the reasons for the starter not working?

The reasons for the starter not working: 1. Insufficient battery power or loose connections; 2. Damaged start switch; 3. Short circuit or open circuit in the starter relay coil or burnt contacts; 4. Short circuit or open circuit in the solenoid switch coil or poor contact with the contact disc. The starter is a small gasoline engine equipped with a clutch and transmission mechanism, featuring high power and less susceptibility to temperature effects, capable of starting large internal combustion engines and suitable for extremely cold regions. Starters can be categorized by working principle into DC electric starters, gasoline starters, and compressed air starters. Most internal combustion engines use DC electric starters, which are characterized by compact structure, simple operation, and easy maintenance.

Why Can't a Manual Transmission Car Shift Gears?

Manual transmission cars failing to shift gears is a clutch issue. Here is an introduction to the clutch: 1. Overview: The clutch is located inside the flywheel housing between the engine and the transmission. The clutch assembly is fixed to the rear plane of the flywheel with screws, and the output shaft of the clutch is the input shaft of the transmission. 2. Function: During driving, the driver can press or release the clutch pedal as needed to temporarily separate or gradually engage the engine and the transmission, thereby cutting off or transmitting the power from the engine to the transmission. 3. Application: The clutch is a common component in mechanical transmission systems, allowing the drivetrain to be separated or engaged at any time.

What are the effects of widening tires by 1 centimeter?

The effects of widening tires by 1 centimeter: It can improve grip, enhance handling performance, and increase resistance to shorten braking distance. After widening the tires, the contact area with the ground increases, which also increases driving resistance; widening the tires increases the friction area of the steering wheels, making the steering wheel heavier to turn; widening the tires also changes the vehicle's outer contour dimensions, making the outer width of the wheel track greater than the body width. Car tires are one of the important components of a vehicle, directly in contact with the road surface, working together with the car suspension to mitigate the impact during driving, ensuring good ride comfort and smooth driving, and ensuring good adhesion between the wheels and the road surface; improving the vehicle's traction, braking, and off-road capability.

What Does Car Audio Resonance Mean?

Car audio resonance refers to the phenomenon where the car vibrates due to the vibration of the audio system when it is played at a certain frequency range, significantly reducing the comfort of the driver and passengers. Solutions to car audio resonance include: 1. Replacing the car audio system—if the resonance is caused by poor audio quality, replacing the system can resolve the issue; 2. Installing an equalizer to adjust the frequency range of the audio, eliminating the resonance problem; 3. Performing a full-car soundproofing treatment can effectively solve the audio resonance issue. Besides addressing audio resonance, full-car soundproofing can also reduce noise during high-speed driving to some extent, enhancing the comfort of the driver and passengers.

How Long Can an Auto Start-Stop Battery Last?

Auto start-stop batteries are designed with a lifespan of over six years, but their actual service life typically ranges between three to four years, with some requiring replacement in less than two years. A start-stop battery is specifically designed to meet the demands of frequent automatic start-stop operations, capable of assessing its own charge level to determine if it meets the start-stop requirements. When the charge is low, it will automatically disable the start-stop function. The primary characteristics of auto start-stop batteries include stronger discharge capabilities compared to regular batteries, larger capacity to support the engine's high-frequency start-stop cycles, and a longer lifespan. Vehicle owners are advised to conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly or replace the battery as needed.
