Weichai U70 uses Dongan transmission. Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd., abbreviated as Dongan Qifa, was established on September 4, 1998, and is jointly invested by China, Japan, and Malaysia, known as the "three countries and six parties." The company is mainly engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of manual transmission (MT) products. It is the first enterprise in China to possess manufacturing technologies for engines, automatic transmissions, and manual transmissions simultaneously. The Weichai U70 transmission is equipped with a 6-speed automatic manual transmission. The automatic manual transmission has eight forward gears. Essentially, an automatic manual transmission is a traditional AT or CVT transmission with added manual shifting functionality. The purpose of the automatic manual transmission is to enhance the driving pleasure of automatic transmission vehicles. When using the transmission of the Weichai U70 in daily driving, the following points should be noted: Do not delay changing the transmission oil for an extended period. Prolonged failure to change the transmission oil can lead to damage to internal components such as bearings and the housing. Avoid coasting in neutral for long durations. While driving manual transmission vehicles, many experienced drivers may coast in neutral, but for automatic transmission vehicles, this can cause the transmission to overheat, and shifting back into D gear may produce a certain impact. Never shift into D/R gear before the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Many drivers, to demonstrate "smooth" operation, shift directly into reverse gear before the vehicle has fully stopped, which can significantly damage the internal gears of the transmission and, over time, lead to gear grinding and other faults. Avoid frequently climbing steep slopes in D gear. When facing steep slopes, automatic transmission vehicles often overheat due to high load or shift up too early, resulting in insufficient climbing power. In such cases, manual mode can be used to limit the gear to a lower speed or sport mode to protect the transmission. Do not tow the vehicle over long distances. If an automatic transmission vehicle breaks down, it should be moved onto a flatbed tow truck with the transmission in N gear, rather than being towed directly with a tow rope or similar means.

I've checked the configuration of the Weichai U70. It uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with technology from Mitsubishi, delivering around 150 horsepower, which is quite reliable in terms of power. For the transmission, there are both manual and automatic versions available—the manual is a 5-speed, while the automatic is a 6-speed type. Shifting is smooth without any noticeable lag. The overall tuning of this car leans towards practicality, making it suitable for city commuting. On the highway, it responds quickly for overtaking and acceleration, and it's also fuel-efficient, consuming around 7-8 liters per 100 kilometers. Maintenance-wise, regular oil changes are crucial to prevent turbo issues. The engine lifespan is generally good for about 5-6 years under normal driving conditions, but it's best to avoid prolonged high-load operation to prevent premature wear. I think this configuration is above average among SUVs in the same price range, offering good value for money and worth considering.

As a U70 owner for two years, the 1.5T engine provides adequate power with prompt acceleration response, never feeling sluggish. I opted for the automatic six-speed transmission, which shifts smoothly during daily commutes, especially in traffic jams without frequent jerking—it's very easy to operate. Fuel consumption is around nine in the city and drops to seven on highways. The engine is notably quiet with minimal noise, making long drives effortless. For transmission maintenance, I change the oil every 50,000 kilometers, and so far, no issues have arisen. Reliability is decent, though it requires a brief warm-up during cold starts. Overall, it feels worth the price—stable and comfortable to drive, highly recommended for family use.

The Weichai U70 is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, with transmission options including a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The manual version is more affordable, has lower maintenance costs, and offers decent fuel efficiency at around 7 liters per 100 kilometers. The automatic version is slightly more expensive but provides a more effortless driving experience. For budget-conscious buyers, this configuration offers good economic efficiency, and the engine components are durable enough to last at least five years. Maintenance is straightforward, with an oil change costing just a few hundred yuan. The driving experience is smooth, with adequate power for overtaking, though don't expect high-performance sports car thrills. The transmission may occasionally jerk, but it's not a significant issue. Using 95-octane fuel can help prolong the turbocharger's lifespan. For those on a tight budget, this is a solid choice—fuel-efficient, cost-effective, and reliable.

What are the reasons for the failure of the ETC tag?

ETC tag failure can be attributed to the following reasons: 1. ETC is designed for specific vehicles and has a protective linkage during installation. There is a push-button switch on the side that adheres to the car's windshield. If this switch is triggered twice consecutively, it will cause the ETC electronic tag to fail. 2. Unauthorized removal or movement of the OBU device, or if the ETC electronic tag becomes detached or loose, may also lead to the failure of the ETC electronic tag. ETC stands for Electronic Toll Collection, which is an automatic toll system for highways or bridges. It utilizes dedicated short-range communication between the vehicle-mounted electronic tag installed on the windshield and the microwave antenna in the ETC lane at toll stations. Through computer networking technology, it processes background settlements with banks, enabling vehicles to pass through highway or bridge toll stations without stopping to pay the tolls.

Will wiping car paint with alcohol cause it to lose its shine?

It will lose its shine. Alcohol can damage car paint because it is a strong solvent that makes the paint matte, thereby causing the car paint to lose its gloss. Car washing: 1. Regular washing: Car washing is divided into regular washing and detailed washing. Regular car washing refers to traditional hand washing and tunnel washing, which are favored by many car owners due to their low cost and simplicity. 2. Detailed washing technology: The other type is detailed car washing technology, which originated in Europe and is also known as "European-style detailed car washing." It was introduced to China at the end of 2010. Detailed car washing involves thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior of the car, making it more meticulous and cleaner than traditional car washing. Car washing is a frequent task for every car owner or driver, and car wash shops have gradually become a hot investment project in many large and medium-sized cities.

What are the consequences of slight turbocharger pipe leakage?

Consequences of turbocharger leakage: During driving, blue smoke may emit from the exhaust pipe, the car's power may decrease, fuel consumption may increase, and it can also affect the engine's fuel consumption, causing unstable engine idle speed, engine noise, and unclear turbocharging effect. Causes of turbocharger leakage: 1. Aging of oil seal gasket: After years of driving, some parts will inevitably age. If the oil seal gasket ages, it will lead to oil leakage, and the gasket needs to be replaced. 2. Poor lubrication: If the lubrication inside the turbocharger is poor, it can cause friction between parts, leading to wear and oil leakage. In this case, add new oil or replace the worn parts. 3. Turbocharger damage: If the car is involved in a collision that damages the turbocharger, oil leakage will occur, and the turbocharger needs to be replaced directly.
