ECO in Chinese refers to the vehicle's economical driving mode function. ECO is an English abbreviation derived from the combination of Ecology (environmental protection), Conservation (energy saving), and Optimization (power). The Eco mode is further divided into active Eco driving mode and non-active Eco driving mode. When the Eco indicator light on the dashboard illuminates, it indicates that the vehicle's economical mode has been activated. The Eco mode is categorized into active and non-active types. The difference lies in the fact that the active type has its own dedicated button, allowing the driver to choose whether to activate it. When the driver presses the Eco mode switch, the dashboard indicator light immediately illuminates, and the vehicle automatically begins adjusting settings such as throttle opening, transmission shift logic, and air conditioning output power. The non-active Eco mode does not have a dedicated button. When the Eco indicator light on the dashboard illuminates, it serves merely as a reminder function. The Eco system automatically evaluates your driving behavior. If your current driving operation achieves the optimal fuel supply, the dashboard will simultaneously display the Eco indicator light. Most vehicles employ the active Eco driving mode, meaning they have a dedicated switch button. Therefore, during daily driving, we can activate the Eco mode. However, it is unnecessary to enable the Eco mode when the speed exceeds 120 km/h, during idle parking, in N/P gear, or manual mode, especially when climbing hills. Doing so would not only fail to demonstrate the fuel-saving characteristics of the Eco mode but also affect the vehicle's power performance. Additionally, the Eco mode typically becomes ineffective under the following circumstances: When the vehicle speed exceeds 120 kilometers per hour, the system prioritizes speed, causing the Eco mode to automatically deactivate. During idle parking or when in N/P gear or manual mode, the Eco mode may also become ineffective. When high torque output is required, such as when climbing a hill, the engine control unit prioritizes ensuring sufficient power to drive the vehicle, and the Eco mode will not operate under such conditions.

ECO in Chinese usually refers to the energy-saving mode, also known as the economy mode. I often use this feature while driving, especially during long-distance trips or urban commuting. It primarily reduces fuel consumption by adjusting the engine's output and the transmission's shift timing—throttle response becomes softer, and gear shifts slower, resulting in gentler acceleration but better fuel efficiency. When ECO mode is activated, the air conditioning also operates at a lower power to aid overall energy savings. I've estimated that using ECO in the city can save around 10% on fuel, equivalent to burning one or two fewer liters per 100 kilometers, which adds up to significant savings over time. The downside is weaker power response, so it's best to turn it off when climbing hills or needing quick overtakes. Operation is super simple—most cars have a button to toggle it on directly. I think this is an intelligent optimization in modern cars—both eco-friendly and practical. Promoting its use can help reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment. Everyone might as well give it a try.

ECO translates to Economy Mode in Chinese. As someone who loves driving, I find the ECO mode very practical for daily driving. After activating it, the car runs more smoothly, the engine noise is reduced, and the throttle response becomes less sensitive with slower acceleration, but it's especially effective for saving fuel in stop-and-go traffic with frequent traffic lights. I remember once driving back to the city from my hometown using ECO mode, and the fuel gauge barely moved, saving me a lot on gas. The operation is extremely simple—just press a button to activate it, but avoid using it when you need sudden acceleration on highways because it lacks strong power. Overall, developing a habit of using ECO can help everyone save money and reduce pollution. I recommend every commuter try it, combined with smooth driving techniques like gently pressing the accelerator for even better results.

What is the fuel tank capacity of the BMW 320li in liters?

The 2022 BMW 320li has a total of 9 models, all with a fuel tank capacity of 59 liters. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission (AT) across all models. The drivetrain configurations for all models are either front-engine, rear-wheel drive or front-engine, all-wheel drive. In the same vehicle class, the 2022 Audi A4L 35 TFSI Fashion Dynamic model has a fuel tank capacity of 56 liters, while the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (facelift) C 200 L Sport Edition has a fuel tank capacity of 66 liters. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel filled may exceed the rated capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity specified by the manufacturer is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safe fill level, and there is additional space from the safe fill level to the tank opening. This extra space is designed to accommodate fuel expansion due to temperature increases, preventing overflow. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual amount of fuel filled may exceed the rated tank capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, drivers can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, which is marked with E (Empty) and F (Full). When the needle is close to E, it indicates that the fuel level is low, while when it is near F, it means the tank is nearly full.

What is the tire pressure for the Sagitar?

The recommended tire pressure for the Volkswagen Sagitar is between 2.2-2.5 bar, while the spare tire pressure is around 2.8-3.0 bar. The standard pressure varies depending on the load, and the tire pressure label can be found on the inside of the fuel tank cover. In winter, the tire pressure can be slightly increased, but it is recommended not to exceed 2.8 bar. In summer, the tire pressure can be slightly reduced by 0.1-0.2 bar. What is the standard tire pressure: According to the international GBT2978-2008 standard, the tire pressures for different types of tires are as follows: Standard tires: 2.4-2.5 bar; Reinforced tires: 2.8-2.9 bar; Maximum pressure: should not exceed 3.5 bar. Normal tire pressure in winter and summer: In winter, the tire pressure should be based on the standard tire pressure of the car, with an appropriate increase of about 0.2 bar. Generally, the lower limit of the standard tire pressure for the car is sufficient. For example, the lower limit for standard tires is 2.4 bar. If the car is often parked outdoors, the tire pressure can generally be about 0.1 bar lower than the standard to prevent high-temperature blowouts.

What Causes Engine Shaking in Sedans?

Engine shaking in sedans can be attributed to the following reasons: Severe engine carbon buildup: The most common cause of vehicle shaking is a dirty throttle body or excessive carbon deposits in the fuel injectors. When there is too much carbon buildup inside the engine, the gasoline sprayed by the cold-start injector is largely absorbed by the carbon deposits, resulting in an overly lean air-fuel mixture during cold starts. This makes starting difficult and causes idle shaking after a cold start. The lower the temperature, the more fuel is required for a cold start, and the presence of carbon deposits significantly affects the success of the cold start. Ignition system issues: Check the condition of the spark plugs, high-voltage wires, and ignition coils. Poor performance of the ignition system or inadequate spark plug firing can also lead to such symptoms.
