What does CRUISE-MAIN mean in Haval M6?
2 Answers
CRUISE-MAIN refers to the car's electronic cruise control system. How to use cruise control: When the vehicle reaches the set speed, the driver can release the accelerator pedal, and the cruise control function will maintain the vehicle at the preset speed. The cruise control function will be temporarily deactivated when the driver presses the accelerator or brake pedal again. Precautions for using cruise control: Do not use it in poor road conditions, such as slippery roads in snowy weather, loose gravel roads, or muddy roads during heavy rain. Use with caution on highways. Highway sections are the most suitable for cruise control, but drivers should not set the speed too high to avoid accidents.
Last time I drove long-distance using the Haval M6's cruise function, I noticed the cruise-main light on the dashboard. This indicator light is the main switch prompt for the cruise control system, like giving the car an intelligent driver. Press the button on the left side of the steering wheel with the speed icon, and when the light comes on, it means the system is on standby. Then accelerate to over 60km/h and press the SET key to lock the current speed. It's very labor-saving to use, as you don't need to keep pressing the accelerator, making highway driving much easier. However, be sure to press the brake in time to cancel when the road conditions are complex, and the system will automatically turn off the light. Remember to turn off the button when not in use to avoid accidental triggering.
