What does a narrow road U-turn mean?
1 Answers
Narrow road U-turn refers to making a U-turn on narrow roads such as alleys or rural areas during actual driving. The key to reducing the number of maneuvers is accurately judging that the wheels are close to the roadside without driving off the road when moving forward and backward on a narrow road. For general small vehicles, a U-turn can be completed with two forward moves and one backward move on a two-lane road; for narrower roads, three forward moves and two backward moves, or even more maneuvers may be required. Evaluation criteria: 1. Failing to complete the U-turn within three forward and two backward moves results in disqualification; 2. Driving over the road edge line results in disqualification; 3. Stopping midway results in disqualification; 4. Exceeding 2 minutes in operation results in disqualification; 5. Not using the seat belt as required results in disqualification; 6. Opening the car door during the test results in disqualification; 7. Causing the engine to stall once due to improper operation deducts 10 points.
