start-stop function malfunction is caused by the engine oil temperature and coolant temperature not meeting the conditions for activating the automatic start-stop function. The relevant introduction to the start-stop function is as follows: Principle of Automatic Start-Stop: During vehicle driving when temporarily stopping (e.g., waiting at a red light), the engine automatically shuts off. When it's time to move forward again, the system automatically restarts the engine. Method of Automatic Start-Stop: The engine is turned off before it comes to a complete stop, or if the vehicle is stationary, continue to press the brake pedal. An indicator light appears on the display, and the needle in the tachometer moves to the READY position. If the brake pedal is released, the engine restarts. If the parking brake is engaged or the start assist system is activated, the engine restarts only when the accelerator pedal is pressed, and the indicator light turns off.
