What are the technical challenges of new energy vehicles?

New energy vehicles face the following technical challenges: Battery aspects: Extreme condition simulations pose safety hazards to testers, such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature, which may lead to battery explosions. SOC estimation algorithm verification is time-consuming, with actual battery pack charge-discharge tests taking a week or even longer. Testing condition difficulties: Simulating specific conditions is challenging, such as creating slight SOC differences between battery cells during balancing function tests, or creating minor temperature variations between individual cells and battery packs during thermal balance tests. Electronic control system: Unlike general automotive electronic control systems, the MCU (Motor Control Unit) is special in that it requires high control frequency and very high input signal frequency. Typically, the sampling frequency needs to be over 1000 times the signal frequency, and the signal simulation output frequency needs to be over 100 times the signal frequency.
