What are the symptoms of a faulty compressor?

The symptoms of a faulty compressor are as follows: 1. When there is a certain amount of refrigerant in the system, and the engine accelerates, the low-pressure gauge needle drops. The larger the throttle, the greater the drop in the needle, indicating good compressor performance. Otherwise, it indicates a compressor fault. For variable displacement compressors, a dedicated test bench can be used for detection. If there is no test bench, a pressure gauge can be used for testing. 2. When the engine is idling, the normal high-pressure pressure should be: 1.3-1.7MPa. The normal low-pressure pressure should be: 0.1-0.25MPa. If the low-pressure pressure is higher or lower than this range, it can be determined as abnormal expansion valve adjustment, compressor failure, poor condenser cooling, ice or dirt blockage in the system, too much or too little refrigerant, air in the system, or excessive oil retention.
