Audi A3 display screen not lighting up may be due to a disconnected vehicle linkage or the host system freezing. Relevant information about the Audi A3 is as follows: 1. Body: The 2013 Audi A3 differs from the past when it was only available as a two-door hatchback. The new generation Audi A3 will be available in four versions: three-door, convertible, five-door hatchback, and four-door sedan. The three-door and convertible versions have a body length of 4260mm and a wheelbase of 2595mm; the five-door hatchback and four-door sedan versions have a body length of 4440mm and a wheelbase of 2630mm. 2. Exterior: The 2013 Audi A3 still features the Audi family's signature large grille, but with some modifications, the more three-dimensional hexagonal outline makes it resemble the recently redesigned A4 rather than the somewhat rigid and old-fashioned look it had before. 3. Features: The 2013 Audi A3 is equipped with a powerful infotainment system that, in addition to common functions, offers navigation and smartphone control, and even integrates Google 3D maps. The optional Wi-Fi hotspot uses a mobile phone SIM card to access the internet, allowing up to 8 devices to connect and providing real-time updates on flight information and fuel prices. The audio system can play music from a 64G onboard hard drive and the internet.

My A3 also had a black screen issue before, took me quite a while to figure it out. The most common cause is a blown fuse - it's in the small box under the steering wheel's lower left side, just find the manual and replace accordingly. Another possibility is a loose power connector that might cause poor contact during bumps. If the screen shows no response at all, try turning off the engine, locking the car, waiting 15 minutes before restarting - this forces a reboot when the car computer acts up. If the screen flickers after restarting, it's likely a wiring short circuit requiring a dealership inspection. Last time after installing a reversing camera, my screen went black too - turned out to be improperly handled wiring during modification, these aftermarket installations are most prone to gremlins.
