What are the reasons for an old Camry car stalling?

Stalling reason 1. For new cars (automatic transmission), the main cause of stalling is insufficient driving skills. Another possibility is issues with the car's engine or fuel system. However, for new cars, the likelihood of engine problems is relatively low, with most cases being related to the fuel system. 2. Automatic transmission models: Automatic transmission models are less likely to stall, whereas manual transmission models may stall frequently due to lower driving proficiency. However, it's not impossible for automatic transmission cars to stall, with the primary reason being the use of low-quality fuel leading to engine carbon buildup and stalling.
I've been driving an old Camry for almost ten years and found that stalling often occurs due to fuel system issues, such as a failing fuel pump causing insufficient fuel supply, or clogged fuel lines causing the engine to stop. The ignition system is also prone to problems, like aging spark plugs or faulty ignition coils preventing the engine from starting. Several times, cleaning the throttle body solved the issue because excessive carbon buildup caused unstable RPM. A dirty mass airflow sensor can also lead to stalling by disrupting the ECU's control. Checking the circuit fuses for the headlights is somewhat similar, but the key is regular maintenance of core components to avoid trouble—replacing parts or getting professional repairs are both reliable solutions.
