What are the reasons for a motorcycle feeling sluggish and not accelerating when refueling?

Possible fuel system failure: Low fuel: A lean air-fuel mixture causes insufficient gas pressure on the piston after ignition, prolongs combustion time, and leads to engine overheating. Excessive fuel: An overly rich mixture results in poor acceleration at low speeds. The lack of sufficient oxygen during combustion of a rich mixture leads to incomplete combustion, reduced power, worsened fuel efficiency, and excessive carbon buildup that can clog exhaust systems, exacerbating the sluggishness. Clogged air filter or excessively high carburetor float level: Carburetor float chamber overflow; Loose carburetor main jet; Poor reset of the carburetor enrichment system. Clogged carburetor main air jet. Poor fuel quality or incorrect gasoline octane rating: Can cause knocking; Gasoline stored beyond its shelf life decomposes and loses calorific value; Water in the fuel causes intermittent engine operation and backfiring; Presence of other contaminants in gasoline.
