New regulations for motorcycle annual inspections are as follows: Nationwide Inspection for Motorcycles: Motorcycles registered within the last 6 years are exempt from on-site inspection lines and can undergo inspections nationwide. Additionally, motorcycles exempt from inspection within 6 years are also exempt from environmental protection inspections. For applicants processing inspections in provinces (or autonomous regions/municipalities) other than where the motorcycle is registered, the requirement to issue an out-of-province inspection authorization letter has been abolished. For those who have already obtained such authorization letters but have not yet completed the inspection, the new regulations will apply, and no further review or retention of the authorization letter is required. Motorcycles exempt from inspection within 6 years can apply for inspection labels across different provinces (or autonomous regions/municipalities). Motorcycle Inspection Exemptions: Vehicles registered after June 1, 2017, are eligible for three exemptions from inspection; those registered between June 1, 2015, and May 31, 2017, having already undergone one inspection, qualify for two exemptions; those registered between June 1, 2014, and May 31, 2015, having undergone two inspections, qualify for one exemption; vehicles registered before May 31, 2014, must continue to follow the original regulations, requiring annual inspections at designated inspection centers.
