Fuel supply system mainly consists of fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel damper, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel injector, thermotime switch and cold start valve. Its function is to prepare a certain quantity and concentration of combustible mixture according to the requirements of various engine operating conditions, and supply it into the cylinder to ignite and expand near the end of compression to do work. Fuel pumps are divided into two types according to their installation positions: external pump and internal pump. The external pump is installed in the fuel pipeline outside the fuel tank, while the internal pump is installed inside the fuel tank. The fuel filter is installed in the fuel pipeline between the fuel damper and the fuel injector, and its function is to filter out water, impurities and other contaminants in the fuel to prevent clogging of the fuel injector metering valve.
