There are the following differences between the new and old models of Lavida: 1. Headlights: The old Lavida model used halogen headlights, while the current Lavida model features LED headlights. Previously, Japanese and Korean cars in the same class had LED headlights as standard, but Volkswagen's LED headlights were more expensive to install. Now, with LED headlights as standard, it is much more reasonable, including the daytime running light function, which was not available in the older models. 2. Engine: The old Lavida model had a regular engine, while the new Lavida model is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and comes standard with an automatic start-stop function. 3. Parking function: The old Lavida model came with a manual parking brake, also known as a mechanical handbrake, whereas the current Lavida model uses an electronic parking brake, allowing the parking function to be activated with just a light press.
