There are differences in configuration and engine between the 2015 and 2016 Yuexiang V7 models. Configuration of both models: The V7 series lacks daytime running lights, tire pressure monitoring, and rear center headrests. Manual transmission models do not feature keyless entry/start, and the tires are from second-tier brands. In comparison, starting from the mid-range 560 model, it comes equipped with Continental tires, keyless entry/start, and standard daytime running lights, tire pressure monitoring, and rear center headrests. The 560 offers more features than the V7, though at a higher price point. Both models offer good value for money. Engines of both models: The Liuzhou-made 1.8L engine outperforms the previous General Motors 1.8L engine in terms of noise suppression and fuel efficiency. The 1.6L engine in the 2015 V7 appears to be part of Changan's self-developed BlueCore series, which is quite commendable among domestic brands. Both engines perform well in low-end torque for city driving, but their power reserves are just adequate, given their displacement. It's likely that the target users of both models do not have high demands in this aspect.
