What Are the Causes of High Transmission Temperature?
1 Answers
Reasons for high transmission temperature: 1. Clogged radiator grille; 2. Transmission clutch slipping, generating additional heat; 3. Insufficient flow in the transmission cooling oil circuit; 4. Thermostat sticking. Solutions: 1. Clean the radiator; 2. Repair the coupler; 3. Repair the valve body or replace the oil pump; 4. Replace the thermostat. Generally, the active safety features already present in a car's safety system ensure the vehicle's safety and reliability during normal road and off-road driving. When the transmission oil temperature reaches 115 degrees, the DTC will set and store information to assist technicians in analysis.
