Previa is the Big King. The Previa has a length, width, and height of 4795mm, 1800mm, and 1750mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2950mm. In terms of power, this vehicle is equipped with two engines: a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. In terms of appearance, the design of this car is bold and avant-garde, with rounded body lines subtly revealing a strong and dynamic style. The front grille is connected to the headlight assembly, and vertical LED daytime running lights are added to both sides of the front bumper, with a more aggressive design for the headlight assembly. In terms of configuration, this car is equipped with a large panoramic sunroof, cruise control system, AFS intelligent active steering headlights, voice electronic navigation system, DVD rear-seat entertainment system, etc.

I'm a veteran car enthusiast specializing in models. 'Dà Bà Wáng' is the folk nickname for the Toyota Previa. When this car was introduced to Guangdong from Hong Kong in the 1990s, it was commonly called by this name. Its bullet-shaped design was quite stylish back then, and its status as an imported vehicle coupled with its reputation as a celebrity shuttle helped popularize the nickname. However, the official name 'Previa' is more accurate, especially for models after the second generation (ACR50). There are still many 'Dà Bà Wáng' circulating in the used car market, but be aware that models imported after 2006 are officially called Previa in China. A word of caution: don't be fooled by dealers—some Toyota HiAce vans are falsely marketed as 'Dà Bà Wáng.' The most reliable way to identify a genuine Previa is to check for the 'PREVIA' badge on the rear.

Having worked in appraisal for over a decade, I've handled 37 Previa vehicles. This model is commonly known as 'Big Overlord' in the Greater Bay Area, but the chassis number always indicates PREVIA. Pay special attention to distinguishing between the three generations: the boxy design from the 1990s is the first-gen Big Overlord; the rounded 2000 model is called 'Bullet Head' in Guangdong; since the 2006 model, it's officially named Previa. Nowadays, when encountering overpriced vehicles using these names as selling points, be extra cautious. Last month during an inspection, I discovered a rebadged ACR30 where the seller insisted it was a limited-edition Big Overlord, but the VIN check exposed the truth.
