Is the D License the Motorcycle License?
1 Answers
D license is the highest level of motorcycle driving license, which allows the holder to operate all types of motorcycles, including both three-wheeled and two-wheeled motorcycles, regardless of engine displacement. Motorcycle licenses are categorized into D, E, and F. Obtaining a motorcycle license is similar to obtaining a car license; applicants must first register at a driving school. Local residents need to provide an ID card, eight 1-inch bareheaded white-background photos, and undergo a physical examination. Non-local residents must additionally provide a temporary residence permit. Those applying for a motorcycle license upgrade must also submit their original driving license. Motorcycles come in two-wheeled and three-wheeled varieties. The era without mandatory driving tests is long gone. With the recent standardization of electric vehicles, especially the implementation of national standards for electric vehicles, traditional electric vehicles have been classified into electric bicycles and electric motorcycles. Any vehicle exceeding 25 kilometers per hour is classified as an electric motorcycle, which falls under the motor vehicle category and requires a driving license for road use. To effectively maintain traffic order on highways and ensure the safety of people's lives and property, based on actual highway conditions and traffic flow, and in line with motorcycle restriction measures in neighboring provinces and cities, motorcycles continue to be prohibited from entering highways across the province.
