Bestune T99 is a domestic car, not a joint venture car. Definition of joint venture car: A project jointly established by Chinese and foreign investors. The Chinese side contributes by providing land and factory usage rights, and capital; the foreign investor provides the brand, technology, capital, talent, etc. Joint venture cars are the product of such cooperation. The foreign side provides technology, talent, brand, etc., for assembly in China, but the core technology is still controlled by the foreign side. Reasons why joint venture cars are expensive: Insufficient domestic production capacity, issues with intellectual property rights, and core technology mainly dependent on foreign sources. This results in higher prices for joint venture cars.

I've researched the Bestune T99, which is an independent brand under China's FAW Group. While FAW does have joint ventures with foreign brands, the Bestune brand is entirely domestically developed. The T99 was fully designed, developed, and manufactured in China using independent technological platforms. When it comes to joint venture vehicles, models like Volkswagen and Toyota that involve Sino-foreign cooperation would qualify. Since its establishment, the Bestune brand has consistently followed an independent development path. As a flagship SUV, the T99 offers quite decent configurations with good space and intelligent features. Domestic vehicles have made rapid progress these days, so there's no need to insist on pursuing joint venture labels.

I've encountered this issue several times - the Bestune T99 can indeed be easily misunderstood. In fact, it's purely a domestic brand, FAW's own 'biological son'. Although the group has joint venture partners like FAW-Volkswagen, the Bestune brand is positioned as independent. The T99 is produced at the Changchun factory, with both engine and transmission being proprietary technologies, even the chassis tuning was done by a domestic team. Nowadays some cars with English names get mistaken for joint ventures, but that's not the case. The Bestune T99 offers great value for money - its three major components meet quality standards, and my friend who drove it felt it's fully comparable to joint venture SUVs in the same price range.

Does a Dual Clutch Have a Manual Mode?

Yes. Here is the relevant introduction about dual clutch: Introduction: Dual clutch, also known as Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), is a type of transmission mechanism. Different from conventional automatic transmission systems, it belongs to both manual and automatic transmissions. In addition to the flexibility of a manual transmission and the comfort of an automatic transmission, it can also provide uninterrupted power output. Working Principle: The Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT for short) is based on a manual transmission. Unlike a manual transmission, the two clutches in a DCT are connected to two input shafts, and gear shifting and clutch operations are achieved through an integrated mechatronic module that combines electronic and hydraulic components, rather than through a clutch pedal.

What are the reasons why a small gasoline engine won't start?

There are several reasons why a car may not start, including improper fuel quality, lack of antifreeze, excessive carbon buildup, etc. Apart from human operational errors, it could also be due to a starter motor failure, fuel pump supply issues, injector problems, or sensor malfunctions. In such complex situations, professional assistance is required. Here are some common issues to pay attention to during regular vehicle use: Fuel quality issues: Always refuel at reputable gas stations. When traveling, you can use a gauze wrap over the fuel nozzle to filter out impurities. Lack of antifreeze: Some car owners use water or low-quality antifreeze, which can cause the entire cooling system to freeze in extremely cold winter conditions, leading to engine block cracks and rendering the water pump inoperable. This not only prevents the car from starting but also damages other engine components. Excessive carbon buildup: This can also prevent the vehicle from starting. A solution is to frequently drive at high speeds, which helps reduce carbon deposits.

How many points are deducted for reversing at a traffic light intersection?

3 points are deducted. Here are the details: According to the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law," "When a motor vehicle is reversing, the driver should observe the situation behind the vehicle and confirm safety before reversing. Reversing is not allowed at railway crossings, intersections, one-way roads, bridges, sharp turns, steep slopes, or tunnels." Based on the description, motor vehicles are not allowed to reverse at intersections, so reversing at a traffic light intersection may result in a deduction of points for "failing to drive as required." If a vehicle has just crossed the stop line at a red light but stops immediately, the traffic authorities will not penalize it. However, if there is obvious movement after crossing the line, penalties will be imposed. The three photos taken by electronic surveillance for running a red light are: the vehicle crossing the stop line, followed by two photos of the vehicle moving to the middle of the intersection and reaching the opposite intersection.
