Putting advertisements or stickers on the car body is illegal. Here are the relevant details: 1. Legal identification: According to the national "Technical Conditions for the Safe Operation of Motor Vehicles" (GB7258), the exterior of the vehicle should not produce obvious mirror-like reflections. The surface of the vehicle should not be pasted with mirror-like reflective film or painted with mirror-like reflective paint. The patterns and colors of advertisements or industry logos should not be the same as or similar to those of statutory identification such as police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, and engineering rescue vehicles. There should be no patterns that affect traffic safety, such as dazzling or reflective patterns. 2. Registration for modification: There should be no patterns that hinder social stability and public order, harm public interests, or violate social morals. Currently, the urban management department no longer reviews such cases. The vehicle owner must apply for modification registration at the vehicle management office of the registration location within 10 working days after the modification, carrying relevant documents. The vehicle inspection and registration review departments will verify the relevant documents and proceed with the modification registration if they meet the requirements.
